Calculate Your Trainees’ IRACDA Support
As the IRACDA Training Program does not provide 100% support for Trainees, we have built a calculator to help you determine their Training Status, Current Program Year, IRACDA Salary Contribution, and Associated Effort% at a particular date to aid in financial planning and determine what non-IRACDA support four Postdoctoral Fellow will require.
How to Use the Calculator
Please select the trainee’s name, enter the date you wish to query, and provide the Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) Salary that this Trainee would have on that date to calculate the trainee’s support information. If you are calculating support for a potential new trainee, select the the “New Traineee” option with their hypothetical IRACDA Appointment date.
PLEASE NOTE: Postdoctoral Trainees are appointed under their PI/Mentor and NOT the IRACDA Program. The IRACDA Program provides a portion of the Postdoc’s salary and benefits during their training. All IRACDA Trainees are appointed on an annual basis. Future year funding is contingent on grant funding and/or program renewal.
